A garden oasis and cultural center overlooking the Hudson River

In The Shop: Romance!

Jenah Barry, Retail Manager of The Shop at Wave Hill, brings to the position the sensibilities of artist and floral designer.

Wave Hill is a place of romance, and where better to celebrate your love than in our serene landscape? The cool winter light lends clarity to all we behold, including the dearest qualities of those we treasure most. Come for a browse in The Shop and find unique gifts inspired by Mother Nature’s graceful hand.

Charming succulent planters and terrariums offer an imaginative, contemporary alternative to a dozen red roses.  Choose from a red-glass succulent cube with heart pendant, or a hanging succulent terrarium. With dried larkspur, gomphrena and red moss, it provides pops of passionate color.

After a romantic, hand-in-hand  stroll  through our garden, head home to cuddle up together with a cup of Whimsy & Spice’s spiced-chile hot chocolate and a box of handcrafted chocolates

The Shop prides itself in its exquisite collection of jewelry, so we are especially pleased to welcome designer Erika Rosenbaum on Saturday, February 14. She will be showcasing collection of heart designs inspired by organic wave and vine forms.

Luscious bath and body products lend themselves to a thorough, Valentine’s Day-inspired pampering. And what better way to top off the day than with a heartfelt love note. Wave Hill has a charming selection of stationary from the best, small, artist presses.

In a special love note of our own, Wave Hill Members receive not just the usual 10% discount, but a heartfelt thank-you gift of a cheerful bloom with their Valentine’s Day purchases. I expect you realize this is an excellent moment to renew your Wave Hill Membership, and perhaps make that a special gift to those dearest to you. Simply inquire when you visit.
