Jenah Barry, Retail Manager of The Shop at Wave Hill, brings to the position the sensibilities of artist and floral designer.
It’s a joy to fill The Shop with merchandise that reflects the vitality of the season—fragrant soaps, locally grown seeds, flowering bulbs and breezy scarves. For the first time, Pantone’s color of the year is, in fact, a blending of two delicate shades—Rose Quartz (soft blush rose) and Serenity (tranquil light blue).
At the winter gift markets, by the way, key trends I noticed for spring/summer 2016 included gentle color palettes, soothing designs, a return to simple pleasures and being present in the moment. Of course, I found many new products perfect for The Shop. Tranquility is synonymous with Wave Hill!
